Now you see it! Now you don't! Cool lucite pieces..

Lucite, a lightweight transparent thermoplastic made of polymethyl methacrylate (thank you Wikipedia), used in furniture production is nothing new.  It started in the 1960's with the introduction of the famous "Bubble Chair" by Eero Aarnio.  Still today, that chair is one of the most well recognized acrylic pieces of all time.

I wouldn't fill a room with this material, but I love working these accent pieces into a space!  They make such a huge statement, give a modern look and are incredibly unique.
