There is nothing like slipping into a steamy, hot shower after a long day of work or a strenuous workout. It's the place where I come up with my best ideas, sing my best tunes, and escape from the world - even if for just a few minutes, to re-group and start things off fresh (and clean).
I have recently seen the most fabulous shower systems during my travels, and it sparked my interest to start doing additional research on what the latest and greatest is for the residential bathroom. Below are my favorites.
This sleek shower head won the title of Interior Design's 2011 Best of the Year Award. Art by Gessi
The Segni shower fixtures, also by Gessi, are cool on their own...but are simply amazing when grouped together as shown here.
The Rami by Gattoni delivers a great rain spray with a much more whimsical look than the typical rainhead fixture.
If whimsical is not your style, the Labyrinth, also by Gattoni, might work with it's geometric lines.
Not only is this amazing shower system designed by Lockie Von Moger a piece of art in itself, it also does it's part for water conservation. The Ishi Shower is equipped with a pause button to stop the water flow while you lather up!
The Gaia by Frattini delivers the feel of a multi-function showerhead with a sleek look - with chromatherapy! However, if a purple shower is not your thing, the fixture is still pretty amazing without.
Finally, this shower head by Kohler has probably been the biggest hit with all of my younger clients. The Moxie is fully equipped with a bluetooth enabled MP3 speaker within the shower head.
