One of the major trends from Spring 2014 Ready to Wear was the use of graphic patterns and Carolina Herrera hit the nail on the head with this trend. While she did have a few separates and cocktail dresses, I fell in love with her floor-length gowns. Most of these had clean silhouettes and perfected the almost hypnotic patterns using line and squares.
Herrera also incorporated layers of sheer fabric into her designs - another huge trend for Spring. I can not get enough of her combination of the sheer wispy fabric and the structured harness-type belt and corset.
